TSUM VALLEY: The Tsum Valley is situated in the Trans Himalayan region of Gorkha, Nepal and is renowned as a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley. Tsum' comes from the Tibetan word 'Tsombo', which means vivid. The Tsum Valley is surrounded by the Boudha Himal and Himalchuli to the west, Ganesh Himal to the south & Sringi Himal to North.
The Tsum Valley Trekking is a recently opened restricted area for trekking in northern Gorkha. The Tsum Valley is bounded by three high passes - the Ngula Dhoj Hyang (5,093 m.) to the west and Yamdro Pass (5,326m.) to the north. The local people of Tsum Valley are of Tibetan origin and practice Buddhist religion. The Tsum Valley Trekking starts at Arughat and the trail follows the winding Budi Gandaki River until it reaches the first elevated Tsum Valley with magnificent vistas of the Ganesh Himal and other surrounding peaks. Traditionally, Tsum valley was a culturally distinct geographical area called 'Tsum Tso Chuksum', which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory. Due to its remoteness and inaccessibility, this sacred valley and its people have been bypassed by mainstream development for centuries. As a result, the unique culture of this valley has remained intact.

ITINERARY:
- Arrive in Kathmandu: Assistance upon arrival, transfer to Hotel.
- KATHMANDU: Sightseeing around the valley, O/N at Hotel in Kathmandu.
- Drive Kathmandu to Arughat (570m, Local Transport: Approx. 8 hrs, Private Transport: 6 hrs drive).
- Trek Arughat to Soti Khola (730m, Approx. 4hrs trek).
- Trek Soti Khola to Machha Khola (930m, Trek 4 - 5hrs).
- Trek Machha Khola to Jagat (1,410m, Trek 7 - 8hrs).
- Trek Jagat to Lokpa (1,835m, Trek 6 - 7hrs).
- Trek Lokpa to Chumling (Lower Tsum) (2,285m, Trek 4 - 5hrs).
- Trek Chumling to Chhekampar (Upper Tsum) (3,010m, Trek 6 - 7hrs).
- Trek Chhekampar to Nile/Chhule (3,347m, Trek 4 - 5hrs), visit Milarepa Piren Phu Cave on the way.
- Trek Nile to Mu Gompa (3,700m, Trek 5 - 6hrs).
- Day rest and excursion around: Mu Gompa
- Trek Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa (3,240m, Trek 5 - 6hrs).
- Trek Rachen Gompa to Dumje (2,405m, Trek 6 - 7hrs).
- Trek Dumje to Phillim (1,590m, Trek 7 - 8hrs).
- Trek Phillim to Tatopani (990m, Trek 7 - 8hrs).
- Trek Tatopani to Labubensi (880m, Trek 6 - 7hrs).
- Trek Labubensi to Arughat (570m, Trek 5 - 6hrs).
- Drive back to Kathmandu, O/N at Hotel in Kathmandu.
- Security day/KATHMANDU: Sightseeing around the valley, O/N at Hotel in Kathmandu.
- Transfer to Airport for further departure.
