1. Camping/Fully organized Trek:

Newcomers heading for Nepal often wonder about the difference between 'Camping/Fully organized trek' and 'Tea-House trek'. It is really a difference of style and philosophy. This classic style of trekking are especially conducted in remote areas of Nepal. Our camping trek includes an English speaking Sirdar/Guide and supporting Sherpa. Our porters carry all trekking gear, food, fuel, and personal belongings. Our experienced cook and kitchen team will freshly prepare a variety of wholesome International style food of a high standard taking care of your health and hygiene.

For accommodation we provide spacious waterproof tents, with comfortable sleeping mattresses. A dining tent with tables and campstools giving a cosy and comfortable atmosphere to eat and chat with fellow trekkers during the evening. We supply a shower tent with a bucket of hot water and also a toilet tent. If you have never camped before, there is no need to worry our team will take care of everything for you. You can enjoy each and every moment. You will only need to carry your small backpack with a water bottle, camera, rain gears, day clothes, toilet items and other personal necessary things. Rest of your gears will be carried by the porters. The advantage of this style of trekking are that, more remote regions that have no teahouse and teahouse infrastructure, can be visited. Also control of hygiene is a lot easier than if the trekkers are using teahouses.

A day on the Camping Trek: In a typical Camping trek, day starts around 6:00 a.m. with a wake up tea brought to your tent, along with a bowl of hot water for your morning wash. Breakfast will be laid on the table around 7:00 a.m. During breakfast we staffs will pack the tents so please have your bags packed before breakfast. After breakfast, between 7:30-8:00 a.m. everyone should be ready to start walking. The reason for this early is to take advantage of the cool morning when walking is easiest; also the morning air is very clear, allowing a better view of the mountains than at other times of the day.

Porters carry trekker’s all personal belongings. Everyone walk at on their own pace and as the group spreads out along the trail. There is a plenty of time to enjoy the views, meet the local people, take photographs and enjoy the flora and fauna. Even though you are with a group you can walk alone. The porters are slower and cook crews rush ahead to prepare lunch, which should then be ready when the group arrives at around 12:00. Afternoon trek ends around 3:30-4:00 p.m. when you round ahead to discover your tents already set up by Sherpa in a field. The kitchen crew again prepare tea/coffee along with biscuits or cookies. As we often camp near villages a trip to the local inn can provide some light entertainment. Later on, you have free choice to read book or explore surrounding area. The food provided is a combination of western and local cuisine by around 6:00 in the evening. The cooks and kitchen staff are fully trained to the highest standard so hygiene. After that around 7:30-8:00 most trekkers turn to their tents to enjoy a sound sleep.

2. Tea-House/Lodge Trek:

The Teahouse trekking means that you stay in private lodges/hotels along the established route. This is the most popular form of trekking in the well developed tourist areas of Nepal including Annapurna, Everest and Langtang - Helambu regions. Most Teahouse/Lodges are locally run and provide clean accommodation with good food such as western continental meals and Nepalese (Dal Bhat). The basic idea of trekking is same. Generally you will be accompanied with an English speaking Guide and porters.

Guide will lead you the way to the mountain and he will organize food and accommodation in the specified lodge/hotel whereas porters will be carrying your baggage of all the necessary equipments for the trek. We will also be responsible to take all the cares of yours during the entire period. Sometimes depending upon the situation and areas where you trek, supporting Sherpa and personal cook are also provided for the better service. The place to eat and to stay has been specified from our trekking experience in that particular area and recommended from its quality of best accommodation to stay and where we can get healthy and hygienic meals to eat. .

In this style of trekking; every day, trek start between 7:30-8:00 a.m. after the breakfast and lunch will be provided around 12:00 in the afternoon. Usually, the day program ends in the end of the afternoon. Later on, you have free choice to read book or explore surrounding area.
